Main tasks:
- diagnosing and treating chronic, inflammatory autoimmune diseases, like systemic connective tissue diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic scleroderma, polymyositis, mixed connective tissue disease, vasculitis
- treating rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriasic arthritis in an aggressive course as a part of therapeutic programs of the National Health Fund – the qualification and monitoring of the treatment as a part of the Biological Therapy Center of the National Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Institute
- caring for female patients planning to become pregnant and being pregnant
- researching the development and treatment of connective tissue diseases
- educating students of the Medical University of Warsaw, doctors being specialists and doctors wanting to become specialists in rheumatology and internal medicine by offering internships and courses organized by the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education
- cooperating with patient associations, educating
