Tasks of the team:

  • a) developing national standards in osteoporosis taking into account global and European guidelines based on the current state of knowledge,
  • b) submitting requests to the Health Minister about implementing changes in the organizational structure of the health care system in the field of osteoporosis, including education,
  • c) developing guidelines for osteoporosis trainings,
  • d) initiating research in the field of osteoporosis,
  • e) developing and analyzing direct and indirect costs of osteoporosis and suggesting changes aiming at reducing these costs.
