Logo HR Excellence in Research
The Direction of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation decided on the implementation of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers into its internal regulations. The Charter & Code define general principles and requirements describing the role, the responsibilities and rights of the researchers, their employers, including general principles and requirements regarding the recruitment of researchers.
Having taken such decision, the Institute proved that it strives towards creation of an optimum and friendly scientific work environment and transparent principles of the researchers recruitment. The European Commission rewards the implementation of these principles by granting the “HR Excellence in research” logo.
The efforts taken in order to adopt the principles of the Charter & Code will strengthen the position of the Institute as a body stimulating the scientific environment locally and internationally. They will also contribute to implementation of the European Commission’s initiative.
Holding the logo is additionally rewarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education during the parametrisation. Moreover, the logo gives the possibility to participate in numerous European Commission’s projects, dedicated to entities having been awarded this badge.
