Main tasks:

• histopathological (also immunohistochemical) diagnosis of rheumatic diseases for the purposes of the clinics of the National Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Institute and other health care facilities: reference center for the whole country – diagnostic offer – click here
• pathomorphology of rheumatic diseases
• pathomorphology of amyloidosis
• pathomorphology of cardiomyopathy
• training on rheumapathology as part of courses offered by the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education, for clinicians and pathologists and individual training
• research on morphological alterations of the musculoskeletal system and other organs in the course of rheumatic diseases
• carrying out studies on the morphological diagnosis of rheumatic diseases and consulting units outside of the National Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Institute
