Main tasks:

    • assessing immunological parameters characteristic for patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis in the undifferentiated arthritis phase
    • the mechanisms of dysregulated production of key maturation modulators and modulators of the activation of osteoclasts taking part in bone destruction
    • immunomodulatory and regenerative characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) of the adipose tissue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
    • quantitative and functional disorders of regulatory lymphocytes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis
    • the impact of the articular and extra-articular adipose tissue on autoimmune disorders in rheumatoid arthritis
    • studying synovial cells of the fibroblast type and their role in the destruction of joint structures
    • the participation of the bone marrow in the initiation and maintenance of chronic inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis
    • disorders of the production of cytokines and their impact on the activation of cells of the immune system and beyond
    • immunosuppressive characteristics of taurine chloramine
    • immunological mechanisms related to arthritis occurring together with other diseases (nonspecific enteritis, sarcoidosis)
    • looking for non-invasive diagnostic methods useful in the early diagnosis of enteritis in the course of spondyloarthropathy
    • immunological disorders in the Sjögren-syndrome
    • immunological disorders in the mixed connective tissue disease
